The Christine Kühne ' Center for Allergy Research and Education (CK-CARE) research consortium located at the Medicine Campus Davos, Switzerland is hiring a highly motivated
Research Technician (80-100%)
CK-CARE comprises five clinical and basic research facilities in Switzerland and Germany with the main focus on Allergology and Dermatology. The Medicine Campus Davos integrates medical care (with Hochgebirgsklinik Davos), translational and basic research in one place. Patients can profit from individually adapted rehabilitative care, acute diagnostics, prevention medicine and treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases.
We are looking for a highly motivated person to expand CK-CAREs translational research activities on the Medicine Campus Davos.

Job Description ' in this role you
support the research groups in performing experiments and lab maintenance
work partially in a Biobank to prepare biological samples and organise storage
conduct measurements of biomarkers as a service for members of the Medicine Campus Davos
monitor and document laboratory processes and equipment
are responsible for the organisation and ordering of laboratory materials
actively participate in the maintenance of the QM system
Requirements
Your Profile
Degree as BTA or MTA (biological/medical technical assistant)
Or degree in Life Sciences (BSc or MSc) in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline
Experience in PBMC isolation and cell culture techniques
Familiar with molecular and cellular biology techniques (e.g. RNA/DNA isolation, qPCR, FACS, ELISA)
Highly motivated and interested in substantially contributing to research with human samples
Interested in learning and developing additional skills and methods
Good knowledge of standard software packages (e.g. MS-Office)
Responsible and outstanding organization skills
Strong interpersonal skills and a great team player
Languages: English, German is a plus
