The Medical Faculty of the University of Basel invites applications for the Open-rank position of Professor in Biomedical Optics.
The University of Basel is seeking a highly motivated and qualified scientist to join the Department of Biomedical Engineering (DBE) as Professor in Biomedical Optics. The successful candidate has a background in biomedical optics, photonic sensors and laser to lead research efforts in the field of modular endoscopic laser for bone ablation. This opportunity is initially embedded in the Department's Flagship project (MIRACLE) on minimally invasive, robot-assisted, computer-guided laser osteotomy with a specific focus on the application of biomedical optics.
