The Department of Chemistry - Ångström conducts research and education in the chemistry field. The department has more than 270 employees and has a turnover of 290 million SEK. At the department's six programs, we conduct very successful research of a high international standard. Duties
The primary focus of this project is on advancing the development of cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries. Responsibilities include conducting experimental research, which encompasses the synthesis and characterization of materials, as well as performing a diverse array of experimental measurements to assess material performance and properties. 

Requirements

For employment as a teaching assistant, it is a requirement that you are admitted as a student at undergraduate or advanced level.

The work requires at least a completed degree in chemistry or chemical engineering or materials science at Bachelor level or higher.

Basic knowledge and experience about electrochemistry and battery materials.

About the employment
The employment is a temporary position according to the Higher Education Ordinance chapter 5 § 12. Scope of employment 5 % for 6 months. Starting date soon as possible or as agreed. Placement: Uppsala
