Your profile

Specify the formal requirements an applicant must meet and what is meritorious for the position. A bulleted list can be a good way to make that clear.

When advertising a postdoctoral position, a similar sentence should be used: As postdoctoral appointments are career-developing positions for junior researchers, we are primarily looking for candidates with a doctoral degree that is three years old at most.

You will mainly work with developing tools for ecosystem services analysis and spatial risk analyses, as a basis for the coastal spatial planning and implementation of measures. You will also contribute to method development and analysis in other projects within the department.

Your tasks include collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders for the design of tools, performing data and literature analysis independently and together with colleagues, and contributing to scientific reports and publications. The tasks can change over time according to needs within projects.

You have a strong interest in the marine environment and quantitative analyses. As a person, you are responsible and good at communicating. You enjoy working in a group, but you are also comfortable working independently. You demonstrate capacity for learning new things, working systematically and showing flexibility where required. Personal qualities such as collaborative skills, accuracy, and subject-related expertise, are emphasized and are preferentially exemplified in the application.
