In your role as a research engineer in the group, you will participate in a subproject that attempts to determine how our olfactory receptors process odors through electrophysiological measurements and stimulations. The research group has developed a new method that allow measurements from our olfactory mucosa, where the olfactory receptors reside, in healthy individuals. You will be measuring responses from the human olfactory epithelium during exposure to odors and develop analysis of the obtained electrophysiological data collected. You will then b using these analyzes to understand the human sense of smell.
