The Department of Information Technology holds a leading position in both research and education at all levels. We are currently Uppsala University's third largest department, have around 350 employees, including 120 teachers and 120 PhD students. Approximately 5,000 undergraduate students take one or more courses at the department each year. You can find more information about us on the department of Information Technology website .
Duties
Participation in organising local workshops, preparing and hosting research visits, updating the project website and assisting with research project work.
Requirements
The applicant should have an education in technological or natural sciences at university level or other subject which the employer finds relevant for the position, must show good study results and have good English communication skills, both spoken and written. Weight will be given to personal qualities and personal suitability when selecting the candidate for the position.
Additional qualifications
BSc/Ba in a subject mentioned above. Previous experience from participating in project work, an interest in the future of artificial intelligence as well as international experience is particularly meritorious as our project collaborates with European and African universities. Experience with relevant IT systems (Wordpress) is desirable.

About the employment
The employment is atemporary position for 12 months.Scope of employment 20%. Starting date 2024-05-01 oras agreed. Placement: Uppsala.
