Work duties

The work duties revolve around field work and include installation of ground water tubes, sampling of soil water, soil sampling, trenching, sample treatment and sample analyses. Also preparations for sampling and installations will be included.

 Qualifications

  • Education: Upper-secondary school/higher education programmes in biology with specialization in aquatic or soil ecology.
  • Experience: field work preferably focused on soil and water sampling, analyses of water chemical variables including DOC, Fe with the ferrozine method, pH, absorbance etc..
  • Knowledge: English and some basic Swedish.
  • Competences: independent, problem solving, practical, taking initiative..
  • Other requirements: driver’s license

Consideration will also be given to good collaborative skills, drive and independence, and how the applicant’s experience and skills complement and strengthen the administrative work within the unit/department, as well as contribute to its future development.
