Offer Description

Description of the workplace
SciLifeLab (https://www.scilifelab.se) is one of Sweden’s leading research infrastructures (RI), assigned by the Swedish government to provide scientists and other key stakeholders across the country with cutting-edge technology and expertise in molecular life sciences. SciLifeLab’s vision is to enable groundbreaking, interdisciplinary research that would otherwise not be possible to conduct in Sweden, and to promote research that can lead to societal impact. To further increase the visibility of, and strengthen SciLifeLab nationally, its board decided in 2021 to establish sites at four universities outside the host universities in Mälardalen, one of which is located in Lund. SciLifeLab Lund is comprised of a consortium of nine advanced research infrastructures, with a broad spectrum of focuses that include genomics, proteomics, imaging, structural biology, pharmacological development, and bioinformatics. The site is led by a Director and operates as a synergistic hub, facilitating collaboration among the encompassed research infrastructures, both internally and with key stakeholders across the country.
We are now looking for a driven and team-oriented coordinator who wants to work in a key role to promote the further advancement of SciLifeLab, both locally and nationally.
