Do you want to contribute to top quality medical research?
We want to recruit a Biomedical Analyst to our research team of translational lung cancer research working at Department of Oncology/Pathology . We are looking for you who wants to join our team and work primarily with handling our blood samples from lung cancer patients with a focus on extracellular vesicles.
Your mission
You will be one of the key persons in our translational team working with samples from our clinical trials in lung cancer with a focus on radiotherapy, immune checkpoint inhibitors and precision cancer medicine. Your daily work will relate to preparation of blood, plasma, pleural -and bronchial fluid and to some extent tumour samples from these samples. - We want you to be independent in preparation of plasma- and tissue samples from cancer patients using standardized protocols.
- It is meritorious if you have previous documented experience in working with DNA/RNA/protein extraction, isolation of extracellular vesicles and know methods required for vesicle analyses e.g. size exclusion chromatography, particle characterization, western blotting and mass spectrometry.
- We also value if you are independent in ex vivo culturing of cancer cells and have experience in cell viability assessment, siRNA methodology and immunofluorescence microscopy.
- As KI is using electronic documentation of research results in BIONOVA Notebook, we would like you to have knowledge in this, or similar software.
