Description of the workplace
The research group, led by Professor Jonas Larsson, conducts research in blood cell development, blood stem cells and cell therapy for blood diseases. The research group consists of both research and technical staff. The group is located at the Biomedical Centre in Lund. Within the research group, we aim to foster a creative and stimulating work environment to promote new ideas and independent thinking.

Work duties and areas of responsibility
The research task consists of you independently running and coordinating projects in the research group. Moreover, to independently write articles and apply for project grants as well as to take part in supervision of research team members
Qualifications
The requirements for the position are:
- Doctoral deegre (PhD) within the biomedical field
- Expertise in mass spectrometry-based proteomics on low cell number samples and cellular secretomes using data-dependent as well as data-independent acquisition methods
- Expertise in bioinformatic analysis of large proteomic datasets and integration of multiple ‘omics modalities
- Expertise in cell culture of single mouse and human hematopoietic stem cells using
- Expertise in advanced multicolour flow cytometry and FACS using both conventional and spectral instruments
- Deep understanding of normal and malignant hematopoiesis during early life, adulthood, and ageing
- Experience working with laboratory mice
- Experience with presenting work at international conferences
- Documented ability to attract funding in the form of research grants

Further information
The employment is until further notice on full time. Start period is from 2024-10-01 or according to agreement.
A 6 month probationary period may be applied.
