THE MÁLAGA BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE AND NANOMEDICINE PLATFORM (IBIMA BIONAND Platform) NEEDS TO HIRE A PROFESSIONAL WITH THE FOLLOWING PROFILE: TECHNICIAN.

Principal researcher: Mª Rosa Bernal López.

Venue: IBIMA A-06 / Regional University Hospital of Málaga.

Research Line: Cardiometabolic Risk of Non-Communicable Diseases. Personalized medicine.

Functions to be developed :

• Tasks to be developed in the adult and elderly population.
• Ensure compliance with the requirements of protocols, ethical standards and current legislation.
• Facilitate communication and act as an interlocutor between research staff and patients.
• Participation in the patient information process and obtaining informed consent.
• Completion and maintenance of data collection notebooks (paper or electronic) within the established deadlines.
• Attention and preparation of monitoring visits (physical and remote).
• Blood extraction and processing of biological samples.
• Measurement of anthropometric and clinical parameters.
• Dispensing medication to the participant
• Patient follow-up (individual face-to-face, telephone and group).
• Attention to the telephone line and email of the study to be carried out.
• Management of patient visit and test schedules according to the requirements of each protocol.
• Dispensing, collection, delivery and registration of study documentation.
• Telephone follow-up contacts with patients.
• Reception and presentation of results of complementary tests and notifications in real time to the main researcher and the rest of the research team.
• Maintenance of activity database of active projects of the research line.
• Attendance at researcher meetings.

Minimum requirements :

• Graduated in Nursing.

Valuable Requirements:

• Experience in the proposed tasks to be performed (1 point per year will be awarded, up to a maximum of 4 points).
• Participation in projects and clinical trials in thematic areas related to lifestyle modification and cardometabolic risk (0.25 points per project up to a maximum of 1 point).
• Regulated training in office automation and computer applications (1 point).
• Minimum knowledge of English B2 (1 point).

The aforementioned requirements must be accredited by means of a certificate from a competent body or a responsible declaration.

Contract details :

• Contracting modality: Contract for scientific-technical activities (art. 23 bis of the Science and Technology Law Law 14/2011).
• Category: Technical.
• Location: Regional University Hospital of Malaga.
• Gross annual remuneration: €24,000.00.
• Time: Full time (35 hours per week)
• Duration: 6 months – The contract is linked to the duration of the financing / project / activity.

Selection process :

• Based on the points obtained in the merit assessment, at least the three best candidates will be selected to carry out a personal interview in which communication skills, aptitude for work and skills will be assessed, with a maximum of 3 points. . Only those candidates who obtain at least 50% of the evaluable merit points will be eligible for the interview phase.
• After the resolution of the position and in the event that the selected candidate resigns from the contract, the hiring table may decide to decide in favor of the next candidate according to the list of scores.
