THE BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF MÁLAGA NEEDS TO HIRE A PROFESSIONAL WITH THE FOLLOWING PROFILE: Technician (Graduate in Biology or similar) .

Principal researcher: Sonsoles Morcillo.

Place of Conduct:  IBIMA Group A-02: CELLULAR AND MOLECULAR ENDOCRINOLOGY (Obesity, Diabetes and their comorbidities: prevention and treatment), Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital.

Project/research line: PI21-01864 Defining heterogeneity in Gestational Diabetes: towards precision medicine. A critical window to stop the vicious cycle of diabetes-obesity.

Functions to be developed :

Call and schedule patients

Blood collection

Sample Processing and Shipping

Determination of anthropometric measurements

Database implementation.

Minimum requirements :

– Required qualification: Graduate in Nursing.

Valuable Requirements :

Clinical experience: Experience in clinical trials and clinical research projects of at least 1 year (1 point per year up to a maximum of 4 points) (certification by competent Body or Responsible Declaration) (certification by competent Body or Responsible Declaration).

Scientific publications in national or international journals, indexed in Pubmed (0.5 points per publication up to a maximum of 2 points) (certification by competent body).

Courses taken with the professional category (0.25 points per course up to a maximum of 0.5 point) (certification by the competent body).

Database management, Excell, SPSS, Access (0.5 point) (certification by competent body).

Contract details :

• Contracting modality: Contract for scientific-technical activities. (art. 23 bis of the Science and Technology Law Law 14/2011).

• Category: Technical
• Location: Endocrinology, Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital.
• Time: Partial (10 hours/week).
• Gross annual remuneration: 6,438.11 (for 12 months and 10 hours/week).
• Expected duration: 8 months. The contract is linked to the duration of the project / activity / financing.

Selection process :
