First-stage researcher high-voltage electrode processing and characterisation

The Energy Storage, Harvesting and Catalysis Group announces a new first-stage researcher position to work on high-voltage material, electrode processing, and coin cell characterisation. The candidate will be involved in the project IntelliGent (Horizon: 01069765), supporting consortium partners in the physico-chemical characterization of high-voltage spinel cathodes, electrode processing using water and suitable binders and coin cell electrochemical testing. The selected candidate should demonstrate skills in the following:

• Processing of self-standing electrodes
• XPS data analysis of ceramic active materials and carbon
• Electrode degradation studies using suitable techniques

The candidate should have a degree in physics or similar, good English communication skills, and be a team player.

What we offer:

We offer a 1-year contract with an opportunity for an extension as a First-Stage Researcher (R1.9) starting March 2024.
