JOB DESCRIPTION:
CIC energiGUNE is looking for postdoctoral researcher in the field of inorganic materials to join our team. As a member of the Research Team Design and Synthesis of Inorganic Materials, you will collaborate with other international and dynamic researchers with expertise in inorganic synthesis materials, electrochemical characterizations, and advanced structural and surface characterizations.
You will be in charge of research activities focused on the developing innovative strategies for the design of advanced inorganic electrode and electrolyte materials for Li-based and Na-based batteries. We are looking for a candidate with a solid background in inorganic syntheses and materials characterization.
Main functions:
- Design and execute the synthesis of inorganic materials, having full access to the Material Acceleration Platform (MAP) developed within our team.
- Perform advanced materials characterizations, using techniques such as X-ray and Neutron powder diffraction, spectroscopy, electron microscopy, electrochemical characterizations, etc.
- Collaborate in the development and optimization of automatized solutions for high-throughput synthesis and characterization.
- Write technical reports and scientific publications.
- Present results in international conferences and technical projects meetings.

Specific Requirements
- PhD Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry or related fields.
- Solid background in inorganic synthesis, as well as physical-chemical and structural characterizations.
- Demonstrated self-motivation and autonomy.
- A committed team player.
- A highly motivated person dedicated to conducting high-quality research
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Basic or advanced knowledge of programming language(s) is considered a bonus.
