Offer Description
The applicant will be responsible for developing models and conducting statistical analyses on data obtained from spectroscopic and geochemical analyses of geological and archaeological chert samples. Additionally, the applicant will assist with spatial analysis through the use of GIS.
The ideal applicant will have a Degree in Archaeology, a MSc in modelling or quantitative analysis and a related PhD. The ideal applicant will have expertise in modelling archaeological data, quantitative analyses and spatial analyses, experience in archaeological fieldwork from Palaeolithic period and proved expertise on the use of Python.
Applicants must have good English level, proved with at least a B2 certificate, and excellent Catalan level, proved with at least a C1 certificate.

Eligibility criteria
• Adequacy of the CV (40 points)
- Degree, MSc and PhD on Archaeology, Modelling or Quantitative archaeology (20)

Additional comments
Duration of the contract of employment: 12 months, renewable to 30/09/2028.
The candidate proposed for hiring must accept the job offer within 5 working days from the date of notification of the selection.
