THE BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF MÁLAGA NEEDS TO HIRE A PROFESSIONAL WITH THE FOLLOWING PROFILE: NURSE

Principal investigator: Jorge Rodríguez Captain

Venue:  IBIMA group A-03 Cardiovascular Research for Health / Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital.

Project/research line: Atrial fibrillation integrated approach in frail, multimorbid, and polymedicated older people (AFFIRMO).

The project leading to this application has received funding from the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No 899871.

Functions to be developed :

– Support in recruiting and screening patients for inclusion in the research project.

– Management of the visit agenda and telephone follow-up.

– Health education (lifestyles and advice regarding pharmacological treatment) for the management of risk factors.

 – Management, application, configuration, collection and management of biometric and clinical data of the research project.

– Inclusion of data in online platforms.

Minimum requirements :

• Degree in Nursing.

Valuable Requirements :

• Experience in clinical trial research (1 point for each year of experience, up to a maximum of 2.5 points).
• Work experience as a nurse (1 point will be awarded per year of experience, up to a maximum of 2.5 points).
• Work stay/training abroad (2 points).

The aforementioned requirements must be accredited by means of a certificate from a competent body or a responsible declaration.

Contract details :

• Contracting modality: Contract for scientific-technical activities. (art. 23 bis of the Science and Technology Law Law 14/2011)

• Gross annual remuneration: €24,854.23
• Time: Full time (35 hours per week).
• Estimated duration: 18 months – The contract is linked to the duration of the project / activity / financing.

Selection process :

• Based on the points obtained in the merit assessment, at least the three best candidates will be selected to carry out a personal interview in which communication skills, aptitude for work and skills will be assessed, with a maximum of 3 points. . Only those candidates who obtain at least 50% of the evaluable merit points will be eligible for the interview phase.
• After the resolution of the position and in the event that the selected candidate resigns from the contract, the hiring table may decide to decide in favor of the next candidate according to the list of scores.
