THE INSTITUTE OF BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH OF MALAGA AND NANOMEDICINE PLATFORM (IBIMA BIONAND Platform) NEEDS TO HIRE A PROFESSIONAL WITH THE FOLLOWING PROFILE: MASTER'S DEGREE TO COLLABORATE AT THE UICEC IBIMA .

Principal researcher: Mª Isabel Lucena González.

Venue: IBIMA-BIONAND Platform / Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital.

Research group: HEPATOGASTROENTEROLOGY, PHARMACOLOGY AND TRANSLATIONAL CLINICAL THERAPEUTICS.  

Project: UICEC-IBIMA Clinical Research and Clinical Trials Unit ISCIII Clinical Research Platforms (PT20/00127)

Financed by the ISCIII and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, Pluriregional Operational Program of Spain 2014-2020.

Functions to be developed :

– Collection and entry of data in the different patient records and the respective data collection notebooks.

– Participate in the selection of patients to be included and management of the patient agenda of the different studies.

– Support in statistical analysis and interpretation of results.

– Contact with national and international participating centers.

-Preparation of documentation for monitoring visits and assisting the study monitor.

-Preparation of communications to conferences and manuscripts.

-Contact with the centers participating in the study to collect information from each patient and correctly complete the data collection notebook.

-Convene, prepare and attend researcher meetings. Make minutes and follow up.

-Support in the inclusion of patients with liver toxicity in the different registries and clinical studies. Information registration and patient monitoring.

-Participate in the scientific activities of the research group.

-Support in Clinical Trial Assistance functions when required.

-Support in the preparation of proposals for requesting project financing, in national and international calls.

Minimum requirements :

– Graduates; Graduates with a Degree ≥ 300 ECTS assigned to Level 3 (Master), Graduates with a Master's Degree (≥300 ECTS) in Health Sciences.

Valuable Requirements :

-Experience in managing databases and Electronic Data Collection Notebooks (CRDe) with a minimum of 1 year. (It will be valued from 0-2 points; 0.5 points for each year of experience) (certification by a competent Body or Responsible Declaration).

– Accredited training in clinical research (It will be valued from 0-2 points; 0.5 points for every 2 credits) (certification by a competent Body or Responsible Declaration).

– English level certificate. B-2 0.5 points; C-1 1 point.

-Experience in preparing manuscripts. (It will be valued from 0-2 points; 0.5 points for each publication as a collaborator and 1 point for first authorship) (certification by competent Body or Responsible Declaration).

The aforementioned requirements must be accredited by means of a certificate from a competent body or a responsible declaration.

Contract details :

• Contract modality : Contract for scientific-technical activities (art. 23 bis of the Science and Technology Law Law 14/2011).
• Location: IBIMA-BIONAND Platform / Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital.
• Gross annual remuneration: €21,445.04.

• Time: Full time (35 hours per week).
• Estimated duration: until 12/31/2024 – The contract is linked to the duration of the project / activity / financing.

Selection process :

• Based on the points obtained in the merit assessment, at least the three best candidates will be selected to carry out a personal interview in which communication skills, aptitude for work and skills will be assessed, with a maximum of 3 points. . Only those candidates who obtain at least 50% of the evaluable merit points will be eligible for the interview phase.
• After the resolution of the position and in the event that the selected candidate resigns from the contract, the hiring table may decide to decide in favor of the next candidate according to the list of scores.
