Offer Description
Place/unit of assignment:
The candidate will join the Translational Research Group in the critical patient. The lines of research in this group have a translational profile and focus on improving knowledge of acute respiratory distress syndrome and sepsis and on their treatment through innovative therapeutic strategies. However, the group is composed of different professional profiles: doctors, biologists, biochemists, biomedical doctors, microbiologists, nurses and neuropsychologists, highly qualified and with extensive experience in research.
Functions to develop:
- Translational research: clinical studies.
- Analyzes and determination of possible prognostic markers of acute respiratory distress syndrome and sepsis.
- Development and supervision of clinical studies. Inclusion of patients, request for informed consent, manipulation and processing of biological samples, Maintenance and operation of databases and information systems, determination of biomarkers (ELISA/luminex), molecular biology techniques (PCR), techniques of cell biology (flow cytometry).
- Preparation of competitive grants.
- Scientific dissemination: dissemination of research in national and international congresses, and preparation of scientific articles.
- Training and supervision of technicians and students.
- Support of clinical and preclinical studies.

- Graduated in Nursing/Biomedical Sciences/Biology or similar

We offer:
The nominated candidate will be employed, through a temporary contract, in the "work or service" modality, since the object of the same will be the project "SCPP2100C008394XV0-SEPTIBELL- RETOS Code 00223099". The incorporation will be in a multidisciplinary team that carries out clinical and preclinical studies, focusing on translational research. The Translational Research group in the Critical Patient is part of the CIBER of respiratory diseases (CIBERes) and is GRC AGAUR. The candidate will contribute to the dissemination of results and publications as well as collaborations between national and international groups
