THE BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF MÁLAGA NEEDS TO HIRE A PROFESSIONAL WITH THE FOLLOWING PROFILE: Graduate.

Principal researcher: Maximino Redondo Bautista.

Venue: IBIMA BA-14/Costa del Sol University Hospital.

Project/research line: PI21/00252 Study of health status and quality of life in patients surviving colon and rectal cancer after 12 years of post-surgery follow-up.

Functions to develop:

• Field work in oncological research projects. Obtaining information from cancer patient cohorts. Sending and receiving surveys.
• Completion, purification and analysis of databases generated during the study.
• Support for the bibliographic reviews necessary in the development of the study and the publications derived from it.
• Contribution to the dissemination of research results (scientific articles, evaluation reports, clinical guides, etc.).

Minimum requirements :

– Required qualification: Graduate in Health Sciences

Valuable Requirements :

Curriculum Vitae with a scientific and research profile in which the following aspects will be assessed and scored, which will be accredited by a certificate issued by a competent body or Responsible Declaration:

• Experience in clinical trials and research projects in socio-health institutions (0.5 points will be awarded per year worked in clinical trials and 1 point per project, up to a maximum of 2 points).
• Publications and/or scientific communications in national or international magazines and conferences related to the topics to be investigated. Accredited through the Pubmed article or list (0.5 per article or list up to a maximum of 2 points).
• Previous experience in teaching and/or research in biomedicine (0.5 points will be awarded per year, up to a maximum of 1 point).
• Experience in database management, SPSS, Excel, Access. Accredited by certificate issued by a competent body or Responsible Declaration (0.25 points will be awarded per year, up to a maximum of 1 point).
• Knowledge of English, minimum B1 (1 point). Accredited by certificate from a competent body

Contract details :

• Contracting modality: Contract for scientific-technical activities. (art. 23 bis of the Science and Technology Law Law 14/2011).

• Category: Graduate
• Location: Costa del Sol University Hospital.
• Day: Partial 50% (17.5 h)
• Gross annual remuneration: €11,266.07 (50%)
• Planned duration : 8 months + possible extension of 1 month. The contract is linked to the duration of the project / activity / financing.

Selection process :

• Based on the points obtained in the merit assessment, at least the three best candidates will be selected to carry out a personal interview in which communication skills, aptitude for work and skills will be assessed, with a maximum of 3 points. . Only those candidates who obtain at least 50% of the evaluable merit points will be eligible for the interview phase.
• After the resolution of the position and in the event that the selected candidate resigns from the contract, the hiring table may decide to decide in favor of the next candidate according to the list of scores.
