THE INSTITUTE OF BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH OF MALAGA AND NANOMEDICINE PLATFORM NEEDS TO HIRE A PROFESSIONAL WITH THE FOLLOWING PROFILE: DOCTOR IN HEALTH SCIENCES .

Principal researcher: Juan Luis Paris Fernández de la Puente.

Place of Conduct: Group D-04 Allergic Diseases to Drugs and Allergens of IBIMA BIONAND Platform / Regional University Hospital of Málaga.

Project: mRNA nanoparticles for tolerance-inducing immunotherapy in allergies. Grant CNS2023-145619 funded by MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033 and by the European Union NextGenerationEU/PRTR.



Functions to develop:

  • Preparation and characterization of soft nanoparticles (lipids and polymers) for messenger RNA transport.
  • In vitro biological evaluation of the prepared nanoparticles in different cell lines/primary cells such as dendritic cells and basophils.
  • In vivo biological evaluation of nanoparticles prepared as immunotherapy agents in a murine model of systemic anaphylaxis.

Minimum requirements :

  • Doctorate in the branch of knowledge of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Health Sciences or related.

Valuable Requirements :

  • Demonstrable professional experience in synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles: 1 point per year up to a maximum of 1.5 points.
  • Demonstrable professional experience in cell cultures and flow cytometry: 1 point per year up to a maximum of 1.5 points.
  • Training for functions B and C of animal experimentation (valid in Spain): 0.5 points.
  • Participation in research projects: 0.25 points per project up to a maximum of 0.5 points.
  • Publications in JCR magazines on topics related to the tasks to be carried out: 0.25 points per publication up to a maximum of 2 points.
  • Advanced English level (B2 or higher): 1 point.

The aforementioned requirements must be accredited by means of a certificate from a competent body or a responsible declaration.

Contract details :

  • Hiring modality: Fixed-term employment contract within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
  • Category: Postdoctoral Researcher.
  • Location: IBIMA BIONAND Platform.
  • Gross annual remuneration: €29,300.
  • Time: Full time (35 hours per week).
  • Estimated duration: 24 months – The contract is linked to the duration of the project / activity / financing.

Selection process
