Offer Description

Project description: The project is focused on the preparation of a technological spin-off company creation (Skynote) dedicated to music education.

Tasks to be performed:

The person will be responsible for planning the overall strategy for dissemination and commercialization of SkyNote. This will include: revising and updating the Spinoff’s business plan, attracting funding both public and private, designing and implementing marketing strategies, and making contacts and collaborations with strategic stakeholders.

Tasks:

• Develop and refine the Skynote company's vision and strategic direction.
• Engage in fundraising activities, including pitching to venture capitalists, angel investors, and other funding sources.
• Manage the company's financial strategy, including budgeting, investments, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, especially those pertaining to technology, data security, and industry-specific requirements.
• Manage intellectual property, including patent filings, trademark registrations, and protection of trade secrets.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to reach target customers and markets.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and in public forums.

Planned remuneration approx: 31.797,34 € gross per year

Financing fund: Projecte PRCAT01024 - 2023 INNOV 00008-AI-Enhanced Music Learning - Rafael Ramírez, “AI-Enhanced Music Learning”, Departament de Recerca i Universitats de la Generalitat de Catalunya, programa Indústria del Coneixement. This position is offered for a maximum of 18 months from the start of the employment relationship.

Eligibility criteria

Selection criteria: The selection of the candidates will be made through evaluation of the curriculum and, where appropriate, with the carrying out a test and/or interview. Valuation will be as follows:

• Academic Training (0-20 points).
  • Academic qualifications above the required level.
  • Valuable MBA or related master's degree.
• Other professional training and experience, adequacy to the proposed profile (0-60 points):
  • International experience would be a plus, including understanding of different markets and cultural nuances.
  • Ability to develop and implement long-term strategies.
  • Knowledge of EdTech and ideally Music Technology.
  • Experience in leadership positions is crucial.
  • Hands-on experience in managing a company's operations, including strategic planning, financial management, and product development.
  • Strong understanding of financial management.
• Other merits (0-20 points):
  • Knowledge of and experience in the specific industry.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with stakeholders.
  • Fluent English.
  • Languages.

The minimum score to pass the selection process is 70 points. The candidate with the highest score in the selection process will be offered the job.
