Responsibilities:

  • Gift Stewardship - i) Personalised Appreciation: Craft and deliver heartfelt, personalised thank-you letters to our esteemed donors, expressing our profound gratitude for their generosity. ii) Empowering Impact: Facilitate the application process for government matching grants linked to received donations, amplifying the transformative power of each contribution. Iii) Inspiring Narratives: Articulate compelling and comprehensive annual reports, not just showcasing the impact of gifts on medical education and research, but delving deep into recipients' stories and aspirations, fostering an emotional connection between donors and the dreams they help realize.
  • Donor Stewardship - Strategically plan, manage, and execute donor visits, meetings, and events, fostering meaningful connections that not only enhance donor involvement but nurture lasting relationships built on shared values and aspirations.
  • Annual Giving - Drive the School’s Annual Giving Campaign (Dean’s milestone campaign) and other annual giving initiatives (e.g. Commencement and White Coat events) as Campaign Manager.
  • New Donor Engagement - Responsible to drive a portfolio of donors (Foundations, high networth individuals, corporates, family offices etc.) from prospect research, cultivation and solicitation to gift closing
  • Administrative support to Stewardship team - Maintain meticulous records of gift pledges, administration of named-Bursary & scholarships/medal & prizes, supporting monthly reports.

Qualifications
  • Degree from a recognised University.
  • Is passionate about meeting people, building relationships, and engaging with donors and stakeholders effectively.
  • Has a knack for numbers, ensuring accuracy in financial stewardship, ethical management of funds and the meticulous management of gift records.
  • Enjoys creative problem-solving and can think innovatively to overcome challenges.
  • Is tech-savvy and eager to adapt and learn new technologies and processes to enhance work efficiency.
  • Has excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information clearly and compellingly.
  • Is fluent in a second or third language, enabling effective communication and relationship-building with diverse donors and stakeholders.
