Senior Executive / Assistant Manager for AI Singapore (AI Products)

AI Singapore (AISG) is a national AI programme launched by the National Research Foundation (NRF) to anchor deep national capabilities in Artificial Intelligence (AI). 

The programme office is hosted by the National University of Singapore (NUS) and brings together all Singapore-based research institutions and the vibrant ecosystem of AI start-ups and companies developing AI products to perform use-inspired research, grow the knowledge, create the tools, and develop the talent to power Singapore's AI efforts. 

AI Singapore (AISG) is sourcing for an individual to join the AI Products team as Senior Executive / Assistant Manager. As Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, you will help develop our strategy to take advantage of AI – in particular Large Language Models (LLMs) through building partnerships and a healthy ecosystem, while pushing for adoption and value creation.

This role reports to the Head of Strategy, Partnerships & Growth in the AI products team.

In this role, you will:

Project Funding and Internship Scheme 

●    Lead the operationalization of project award and paid internship schemes targeting post-graduate students in the LLM space globally
●    Conceptualize and execute outreach and marketing of post-graduate LLM project funding and internship schemes, liaising with touch-points within NUS and other IHLs globally as necessary
●    Conduct systematic, accurate and timely tracking and status reporting of funded projects
●    Serve as secretariat for committee(s) that provide governance and oversight of funding schemes

Partnerships & Strategy

●    Establish and operationalize systems for progress tracking of partnerships and collaboration projects with private sector and public sector entities as well as academic institutions
●    Assist in preparations and support regular reporting and stakeholder management interactions
●    Track and ensure timely follow-up to inbound partnership and collaboration requests, liaising with appropriate internal and external parties as necessary

●    Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a reputable tertiary institution
●    3-5 years in partnership management, marketing, project management
●    Excellent understanding of customer profiling based on behavior, demographics
●    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to engage a wide variety of stakeholders effectively
●    Up-to-date with AI research areas and current trends, especially their application to problem-solving
●    Experience with administration of funding schemes in a large academic or corporate setting will be a plus
