Research Fellow (Wireless Communications)

The School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow. Our research team has a strong collaboration with many other domain experts around the world. In addition, our work on RIS received the IEEE Communications Society Fred W. Ellersick Prize and IEEE ICC Best Paper Awards on 2023, IEEE Marconi Prize Paper Award in Wireless Communications and EURASIP Best Paper Award for JOURNAL ON WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS AND NETWORKING on 2021.

The Research Fellow will work on a project to conduct the research on reconfigurable intelligent surface.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To design integrated sensing and communications (ISAC) system with RIS

  • To optimize and analysis the RIS-based ISAC system

  • To document research outcome to publish at international conference/journal

  • To write report for project progress

Job Requirements:

  • PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

  • Expertise in wireless communications

  • Experiences in RIS, ISAC, and AI are highly preferred

  • Good publication track record is an advantage
