Job Description

 

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the National University of Singapore is hiring a Research Fellow (RF). The successful candidate will work on structural health monitoring (SHM) and defect prediction of a floating tidal-wave energy system under the direct supervision of Professor KOH Chan Ghee.

 


Job Requirements

 

•    Possess a recognised PhD degree in Structural Health Monitoring or a related discipline in civil/mechanical/offshore engineering.
•    Experience in development and application of sensors and damage identification algorithms (e.g. machine learning methods)
•    R&D experience in offshore/marine systems is preferred.  
•    Has prior good publication record.
•    Strong writing and communication skills and able to conduct presentation and present results.   
•    Ability to work individually & independently and/or in a team.
•    Open to fixed-term contract.
