The School of Biological Sciences (SBS), part of the College of Science, was established in 2002 with a mission to advance biological and biomedical sciences. At SBS, our research spans various areas, including infectious diseases, immunology, neurodegenerative diseases, telomere biology, and genome function. Over the years, SBS has attracted talented individuals from around the world and Singapore to join as scientific leaders and researchers.

We are currently seeking a Research Fellow specializing in structural biology at SBS. The ideal candidate should possess technical expertise and knowledge in mycobacterial protein engineering, recombinant expression, enzymology, and 3D structure determination. Additionally, the candidate will provide leadership, effective communication skills, and mentorship to students within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research in structural biology, with emphasis on mycobacterial protein engineering, recombinant expression, enzymology, and 3D structure determination.

  • Provide leadership, communication skills, and mentorship to students working in the team.

Job Requirements:

  • PhD in a relevant field.

  • Extensive technical experience and knowledge in mycobacterial proteins, cultivation of mycobacteria, and structural biology.
