Job Description

For an R&D project in the area of RF and microwave communication and remote sensing systems, we are looking for an experienced designer of microwave power amplifiers (PA).

 

In this position you will:
•    design innovative pulsed and CW power amplifiers for various applications,
•    draft specifications based on simulations and measurements,
•    test the power amplifiers and write measurement reports,
•    devote time on researching innovative power amplifiers, especially in relation to performance and thermal management,
•    work with other team members on the integration of the PAs into systems and support testing of these systems,
•    participate in meetings and attend conferences where applicable.

 

The job requires proven experience with PA design and testing tools.
 


Qualifications

•    Possess a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering
•    Several years of proven experience in the simulation and design of RF and microwave power amplifiers.
•    Experience with tools such as ADS and HFSS.
•    Experience with measurement of power amplifiers.
•    Able to work independently and in a team.
•    Open to fixed-term contract.
