Research Fellow (optically-pumped magnetometer)

A Research Fellow position is available in the laboratory of Weibo Gao Lab at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle research activities related to optically-pumped magnetometer

• Handle ultra stable and precise miniaturized OPM

• Manage application of OPM including high spatial resolution imaging, biomagnetic measurements (e.g. MEG and MCG applications), and fundamental physics

Job Requirements:

• Ph.D. degree in either material science or applied physics or relevant subject from well-established universities/institutes

• Highly motivated in multidisciplinary research. He/she must have proven experience in Quantum materials

• Abilities to work independently as well as teamwork

• Experience in atom related physics. Preferably with experience in optically-pumped magnetometer, including vapor cell miniaturization, VCSEL development for the quantum sensors integration, triaxial magnetic field measurement, the relaxation suppression mechanism.
