The Centre of Hardware Assurance (CHA), Temasek Laboratories@NTU (https://www.ntu.edu.sg/temasek-labs/research-focus/research-areas/centre-of-hardware-assurance ), is looking for a candidate to join as a Research Assistant to conduct research in the evaluation and vulnerability analysis of hardware security mechanisms in devices at the chip, firmware and PCB levels.
Job Responsibilities
Analyze PCB through various state-of the art non-destructive analysis / characterization techniques and tools
Prepare electronic samples at both chip and PCB levels with advanced facilities and techniques, which are widely used in semiconductor industry for invasive, semi-invasive and non-invasive hardware security analysis
Study and investigate workflows for the chip and PCB security analysis
Improve the developed security analysis workflows with higher throughput and accuracy
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering or relevant discipline
Knowledge in microelectronics and packaging is required, knowledge in failure analysis is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Problem solving, research and analytical skills
Independent and can work well in a team
