Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Professor Toh Kim Chuan on research topics under a project on the development of theory and algorithms for large scale conic programming.
The main responsibilities of the position include conducting independent research on the design, analysis and implementation of efficient and robust algorithms for large-scale conic programming.
Requirements
Qualifications / Discipline:
Graduating PhD or recent PhD holder specializing in optimization.
Skills:
Advanced knowledge on nonsmooth analysis, Riemannian optimization, nonconvex optimization theory and algorithms including Matlab and C programming languages at PhD level are required.
Experience:
At least 2 years of independent research experience at PhD level in the design, analysis and implementation of efficient algorithms for large-scale conic programming.
