Job Description

The successful candidate will work with Dr. Luo Min, utilizing biochemistry, cell biology and cryo-EM to study the structure and function of membrane protein complexes that play an essential role in mitochondrial function or cell division in human pathogens.


The main responsibilities of the position include: 
1. Performing research independently. 
2. Mentoring graduate/undergraduate students.


Qualifications

Qualifications / Discipline:
• PhD in Biochemistry or related field. 
• Graduating PhD students, with strong background in biochemistry, molecular biology, membrane protein and structural biology are welcome to apply.


Skills:
• Strong skills in cloning, protein biochemistry, membrane protein purification, kinetic assay, structural biology, and model building.


Experience:  
• Experience with membrane protein structural biology is highly preferred.
• Strong publication track record in structural biology.
• Have at least 3 first-author paper published in peer-reviewed journals.
