Job Description

 

•    Develop and implement AI and machine learning algorithms for urban-scale building energy modeling
•    Integrate AI techniques with existing building energy simulation tools
•    Analyze large datasets of building energy and related urban data and create predictive models for energy use in urban environments
•    Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences
•    Assist in grant writing and research proposal development
•    Mentor graduate students in related research projects and assist with teaching as necessary

 


Job Requirements

 

•    PhD in Built Environment, Computer Science or a related field
•    Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and AI techniques
•    Experience with building energy modeling software (e.g., EnergyPlus, OpenStudio)
•    Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB
•    Familiarity with urban data analysis and GIS tools
•    Good written and verbal communication skills
•    Track record of peer-reviewed publications in relevant fields
