Job Description

We are seeking a talented and innovative Research Engineer to join our team focused on the development and application of small-scale motors. The successful candidate will play a key role in researching, designing, and implementing small-scale motor systems for various applications.

 

Responsibilities include:
•    Conducting research on small-scale motor design, including exploration of magnetic configurations, motor types (linear, DC), and compact gear systems tailored for miniature dimensions.
•    Utilizing advanced modeling and simulation techniques to optimize motor performance metrics such as speed, torque, and efficiency.
•    Developing prototypes of small-scale motors with a focus on creative and innovative design solutions that maximize performance within constrained size requirements.
•    Characterizing motor prototypes through experimental testing to evaluate performance, reliability, and durability.
•    Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate small-scale motors into diverse applications, including micro-robotics, biomedical devices, and miniature actuators.
•    Contributing to the development of innovative solutions and technologies by identifying new opportunities and overcoming technical challenges.
 


Qualifications

•    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
•    Strong background in motor design, with knowledge of magnetic structures, miniaturized motor types (e.g., linear, DC), and compact gear systems.
•    Hands-on experience with motor prototyping and testing, with a focus on creative design approaches that leverage advanced materials and manufacturing techniques.
•    Proficiency in simulation tools such as COMSOL, ANSYS, or MATLAB for modeling and optimization.
•    Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
•    Strong communication skills and the ability to present research findings in a clear and concise manner.
