NEWRI is seeking to hire a Research Associate to provide the specialized expertise needed for the in-depth analysis and operation of the flow-capacitive deionization modules and integrated system. Furthermore, the candidate will be involved in membrane fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee flow-capacitive deionization module operation

  • Fabricate novel organic pollutant removal and ion-selective membranes

  • Conduct vital experiments

  • Investigate the underlying mechanisms of the wastewater treatment processes

Job Requirements:

  • At least a Master's degree

  • Proficiency in analytical techniques for water quality analysis and electrochemical water treatment systems

  • Proven track record in conducting research, designing experiments, analyzing data, and interpreting results

  • Capacity to oversee research projects, encompassing planning, budgeting, and coordination of activities with other team members

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential for drafting research papers, reports, and conveying findings to stakeholders

  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development to remain abreast of the latest advancements and technologies in the field

  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment
