InsPIRE is searching for a dynamic Project Officer with a flair for multimedia content creation. The role involves actively contributing to the planning and executing student engagement projects, social media recruitment drives and participating in the department's welfare committee. The ideal candidate will be passionate about storytelling through diverse multimedia formats, such as filming, photography and video production. We seek an individual with a practical approach to multimedia, dedicated to enhancing the overall experience for students and department members.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Multimedia Production

  • Film events, interviews, and introductions, ensuring the capture of high-quality footage that encapsulates the essence of the occasion

  • Capture compelling photographs during events, spotlighting key moments and highlights

  • Craft engaging and shareable short-form videos for various social media platforms

  • Produce professional interview videos, conducting pre-production research, setting up equipment, and editing footage for final delivery

  • Plan and create student engagement videos, collaborating with stakeholders to develop resonant content for the target audience

  • Generate diverse video materials as requested by internal teams, including promotional videos, educational content, and instructional videos

2. Student Engagement Initiatives and Recruitment Campaigns on Department Social Media

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to brainstorm, plan, and execute student engagement projects aligned with the organization’s goals

  • Develop creative concepts and strategies to foster student involvement in multimedia initiatives, enhancing the overall learning experience

  • Coordinate logistics, resources, and timelines for the successful implementation of student engagement projects

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of student engagement activities through feedback mechanisms and analytics, making adjustments for future projects

  • Create engaging content, including videos, graphics, and posts, to broaden the outreach of the department's social media channels

3. Welfare Committee, Planning and Executing Welfare Initiatives

  • Participate in the department welfare committee to identify, plan, and execute initiatives enhancing the well-being and morale of team members

  • Collaborate with committee members to assess the needs and preferences of employees and develop welfare initiatives accordingly

  • Organize welfare activities and events, such as team-building exercises, wellness workshops, and recognition programs, fostering a positive work environment

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of welfare initiatives through feedback mechanisms and surveys, making adjustments to meet evolving team needs

4. Supporting the Initiatives and Projects of the Internationalisation Department

  • Provide support to the Internationalization Team, such as guided tours and photography

  • Offer ad hoc assistance as required

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Production, Film Production, Communications or related field

  • Proven experience in filming events, conducting interviews, and producing high-quality video content

  • Proficiency in photography techniques and equipment, with a strong portfolio showcasing event coverage and photography skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar programs

  • Previous experience working in a university setting is a plus

  • Creative mindset with the ability to conceptualize and execute engaging multimedia content

  • Strong Communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in multimedia production and digital media

  • Familiarity with educational context and student engagement strategies, particularly in higher education setting to create multimedia content supporting learning objectives will be an added advantage

  • Previous experience or involvement in welfare initiatives or committee participation will be an added advantage
