Project Officer (Computer Science)

The Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N ) invites applications for the position of Project Officer.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist on IT related issues like setting up of computers, trouble shooting, planning for IT resources, support event on IT and AV matters, IT asset clearance, etc

• Configures, tests, maintain LAN/WAN, wireless equipment, and related services.

• Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves network problems.

• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.

• Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.

• Maintain network, CCTV system, workstation, servers, and notebooks within company

• Reporting network operational status and managing projects.

• Create and maintain documentation, purchases, and services

Job Requirements: 

• Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines/ Diploma with several years of experience in related area would also be considered

• Working experience preferably 1~2 years

• Meticulous, organized, able to prioritize and multi-task

• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Good interpersonal skills to communicate with users, vendors, and other IT personnel.

• Able to work both independently and as a team
