We seek dedicated educators and researchers to join our team, focusing on a non-tenure-track Senior Lecturer/Lecturer positions in Power Engineering.


Position Description
Applicants should hold a PhD or at least a Master's degree in Electrical and
Electronic Engineering, or a closely related discipline. A strong background and
experience in one or more of the following areas is required: Power Systems, Power Electronics, Electric Motors, Power Apparatus and System Protection, Smart Grids, Renewable Energy Systems.


Fresh PhD graduates would be considered but preferences are given to candidates with relevant working/teaching experience in universities.


Responsibilities
The successful candidates are expected to teach courses in the fields of Power Engineering at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students. The responsibilities include:

  • Facilitates and conducts all teaching assignments.
  • Engaging in curriculum development in the context of the rapidly changing technology (including but not limited to creating new course materials and resources to enhance student learning).
  • Performing administrative duties related to courses, such as coordination, evaluation, and maintaining academic records.
  • Assessing student performance, providing feedback, and offering academic counseling.
  • Provide academic supervision of undergraduate and graduate students and projects.
  • Carries out assigned service duties to the School, University and the public at large.
  • Undertaking any other responsibilities as assigned.
