The Role

Candidate will be part of a dynamic team in NUS Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies, to organize, plan and support undergraduate nursing students in academic matters and clinical posting. He/she will also provide administrative, secretarial and logistical support and work closely with stakeholders such as Healthcare Institutes (HCIs), to facilitate and plan student’s clinical posting. 


Job Description
  • Serve as the main point of contact for academic and clinical administrative matters for Y3 and Y4 students   
  • Liaise with HCIs for clinical placement schedule and arrange student’s clinical posting 
  • Ensure that all students have completed the required clinical posting requirements for graduation 
  • Assist with planning and projecting of PSEI for clinical posting schedule and liaise with various hospitals to update on any changes
  • Assist in managing OCMS (Online Clinical Management System) for Clinical Instructors, students and faculty for Y3 and Y4 clinical posting with regards to assessment, attendance and setting up of OCMS accounts
  • Track and collate students Medical Certificate (MC) and replacement dates during student’s clinical posting.
  • Monitor and track student outliers and report to the Course Leads in a timely manner
  • Plan and schedule BCLS/AED/NGEMR courses and training for students to ensure the timely renewal of their certificates
  • Ensure that all students are BCLS/AED trained and validity of their certificates
  • Help out with the planning and execution of ad-hoc student related events such as Mask-Fitting, Tele-Simulation for students, VR Loan and any other events as needed

Requirements
  • Diploma holder with at least 1 year of working experience
  • Working experience in HCI or educational environment would be an  advantage
  • IT savvy and proficient in MS Office applications
  • Receptive to database system work such as Online Clinical Management Systems (OCMS), Central Management Information Systems, EduRec, CourseReg, Integrated Marks Management Systems, etc.
  • Positive working attitude, proactive and eager to learn
  • Good organization and communication skills
  • Strong team player who is meticulous, resourceful and resilient
