A recognised leader in innovation and technology, the College of Engineering (CoE) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) comprises six internationally known engineering schools and is home to nearly 14,500 students, 500 faculty and 1,500 staff.

The Executive, Outreach and Admissions plays an important role in supporting and facilitating the outreach and admissions campaigns and activities of the College. Stationed in the Dean’s Office of CoE, you will execute the full spectrum of administrative and operational support (pre-event to post-event), which includes (but not limited to) the development, planning and execution of events, workshop, visits, seminars, talks and learning journeys. You will also assist with the post-event reporting and analysis of outreach activities, to further refine and improve future events to achieve outreach objectives of the College. In addition, you will also support the office in the administration of admissions and scholarships offers as well as data processing, analysis and reporting of admissions and scholarships numbers to achieve the admissions and scholarship targets. In your course of work, you will be required to coordinate with various stakeholders and collate the required information/ inputs for submission to requestors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full spectrum of administrative and operational support (pre-event to post-event) to the office for outreach activities and events in areas such as coordination, purchases, logistics, marketing communications, collation of information, data collection and analysis, etc. This will involve the coordination and collaboration with schools, offices in NTU, student helpers, vendors, and other related stakeholders.

  • Assist in planning and developing effective and engaging outreach events.

  • Manage and execute outreach events on-site to ensure smooth running of events and participate in outreach events.

  • Update databases for outreach events and conduct post-event surveys and analysis to improve future outreach activities and achieve outreach objectives.  

  • Promote the College’s programmes to prospective students at outreach and admissions events/activities.

  • Provide administrative and operational support to engineering schools on outreach activities and events, etc.

  • Timely relay of updates and changes to admissions and scholarship offers and accurate data processing, analysis and reporting for the team’s recommendations to achieve admissions and scholarships targets.

  • Timely and accurate collation of required information and inputs for submission.

  • Any other ad-hoc tasks related assigned by the ADS office to contribute to the overall success and functioning of the team and College.


  • Degree in Business/Marketing from a recognised university. 

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in marketing, event management or outreach.

  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, combined with the ability to effectively set priorities and goals, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent people and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders of various levels.

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Excellent project and event management skills.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office skills.

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of the higher education market in Singapore and Asia-Pacific region is advantageous.
