Job Description

The applicant will be involved in the prototype development and sale of Tap Tap Stretch, which is a co-design project with the elderly community under the bGood programme of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, with the aim of producing a fully functional product that could be sold to our community partners to benefit their clients in need.

 

•    Computer modelling of prototype.
•    Fabricating prototypes for user testing and validation.
•    Recruitment of community agency partners for user testing.
•    Establishing evaluation framework for assessing prototype.
•    Collecting feedback on first iteration of prototype.
•    Redesigning prototype with feedback taken into consideration.
•    Creating a final prototype for manufacturing.
•    Assembly of the final product for sale.


Qualifications

•    The applicant should have good knowledge and experience in computer aided design and
microcontroller programming to develop prototypes. 
Be able to communicate well with clients in the elderly community to define the technical specifications and perform co-design and solutioning.
•    Open to fixed-term contract.
