Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project/Process Manager with expertise in SAP S/4 Hana system. The role requires capability to work with Business Process Owner to support or lead projects that cross teams within the Office of Finance or projects that cross NUS offices. The role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery, resolution of complex process/functional/application issue and support process improvements through automation initiatives. The role requires strong techno-functional knowledge, and ability to craft end to end solutions in process and system.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serves as the bridge between Business Process Owners and NUSIT to achieve business objectives, working closely with them to plan and coordinate process improvement and manage projects. Assist in escalating SAP S/4 Hana problems/issues to NUSIT.
  • Provide consultation to Business Process Owner teams on complex SAP S/4 Hana process and application issues; assisting to interpret users requirements to technical language and help work with NUSIT in issue resolution.
  • Lead/Participate in assigned projects. Ensure business requirements are well defined, contribute to the design of the system, integration with other systems and assist users in user-acceptance testing/data migration. Support business requirement gathering and documentation for projects. Review both business requirements and functional business requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery and quality outcomes. Communicate project status, milestones, and key insights to senior leadership and stakeholders, fostering transparency and alignment. 
  • Recommend cross functional business process improvements.
  • Develop documentations. 
  • Provide administrative support for Office of Finance owned systems, Share points and websites.
  • Stay updated on the latest SAP S/4 HANA features, best practices, and industry trends.

Qualifications
  • Possess a degree in Business Administration, Accountant, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • 5-8 years of relevant working experience.
  • Strong knowledge of finance business processes in the area of Order To Cash (OTC), Procure To Pay (PTP) and Record to Report (RTR).
  • Strong functional knowledge in majority of SAP S/4 Hana modules (ie SD, AR, Bank Recon, MM, AP, VIM, FICO, FM, GM, PS, Treasury).
  • Knowledge on SAP tables and data retrieval using SAP tables of above modules. 
  • Functional knowledge in SAP Ariba and area of integration with SAP MM is an added advantage.
  • Functional knowledge in BPC 11 is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tools such as Power BI is a plus.
  • Technically competent in the use of MS Office, advanced Excel.
  • Knowledge in Sharepoint, HTML and Wordpress is a plus. 
  • Experience in leading SAP S/4 Hana system and/or process improvement projects. 
  • Possess good analytical and communication skills. 
  • Good team player, responsible and conscientious. resourceful, independent, responsive, and pro-active
