Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Customised Executive Programmes (CEP), the Client Manager will be part of the business development team responsible for the overall go-to-market strategies and revenue targets.

 

The key focus of the role will be to:

  • Support business plans to achieve incremental revenue from new and existing corporate clients in the Asia-Pacific and global markets
  • Lead initial discussions with the clients to understand their learning needs and objectives and provide relevant information on our programmes and capabilities
  • Partner with the client, NUS Executive Education teams, and faculty members to implement successful custom programmes, which includes a hands-on approach to the design, delivery, and debrief phases of the programme including contracting and procurement processes
  • Maintain effective and open communication and work closely with internal teams to ensure a high-level quality of programme delivery
  • Maintain an understanding of key industry trends and the future of work to progressively become a trusted advisor to senior business leaders and Heads of L&D and Human Resources
  • Any relevant projects as assigned by the Head (CEP)

Qualifications

To be successful in the role you should:

  • Have at least 2 years’ proven experience in supporting business development in line with the organization's strategic direction, priority targets, and budgets
  • Have experience/strong interest in curriculum design relating to leadership capability development
  • High level of initiative, drive, and resourcefulness
  • Possess effective communication skills with the ability to confidently engage and consult with senior-level internal and external clients of the school
  • Thrive on actively contributing to a high-performance, client-centric environment
  • Prior experience in Corporate Education/Training will be an advantage
