Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine) is looking for an Assistant Manager, Clinical Affairs who is resourceful, thrives in complexity and works well in a team. The role of an Assistant Manager, Clinical Affairs, Curriculum is to oversee the Clinical Affairs operations of the School in managing stakeholder relations with public and private healthcare institutions. Clinical Affairs team also administers the appointment of Clinical Educators.
The candidate will play a key role mainly in, but not limited to the following:
Oversee team’s daily operation, this includes maintaining the database management, tracking of educational contributions; generation, dissemination and archiving of appointment letters and organizing events related to appreciation/recognition of Clinical Educators
Manage and review academic appointment nominations (e.g., Lecturer, Assistant Professor, etc.) from individual healthcare institutions (HCIs) and provide recommendation to Vice-Dean, Clinical Affairs
Partner with MOH Holdings Pte Ltd in the engagement of Medical Officers/Residents/Senior Residents as educators in the School’s MBBS programme
Administer academic and leadership appointments for clinical faculty
Organise Clinician Recognition & Appreciation events
Engage and maintain a good working relationship with various healthcare institutions education offices
Requirements:
A good degree
At least 5 years of working experience
Able to work under tight timeline
Able to handle large volume of workload accurately and efficiently
Administrative experience in healthcare and/or medical education preferred
Proficient in Microsoft software and Outlook
This is a 3 years contract appointment.
