The F uture Re ady F ood S afety H ub (FRESH) serves as Singapore’s lead scientific platform under the Singapore Food Story R&D Programme, to bring together researchers, regulators and industry to build up Singapore’s food safety science and R&D capabilities to secure Singapore’s food supply and economic value proposition. FRESH will embark on R&D and talent development activities to help enhance Singapore’s local food regulatory capabilities and allow “first-in-market” food products to be safely launched in Singapore, as well as help promote Singapore-developed food standards internationally. FRESH is part of the Singapore Food Story R&D Programme (SFS), with partner organisations being the Singapore Food Agency (SFA), A*STAR and the Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage contracts for all external engagements at FRESH.
  • Manage FRESH's core accounts and projects, including invoicing, payments, account receivables, and financial accounting and reporting.
  • Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and administrative processes to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of FRESH, including oversight of office facilities and equipment to maintain a conducive work environment.
  • Assist FRESH research and leadership team in managing the manpower activities via Research Information SystEm (RISE) Activities (include reviewing manpower variations, view/add/modify manpower expenditure in RISE)
  • Provide support for other HR-related functions, such as onboarding new hires, coordinating team-building activities, and liaising with staff on matters related to hiring plans, resignations, confirmations, and other HR-related issues.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end procurement activities, from sourcing to tracking goods receipt for FRESH, while ensuring compliance with grant reporting requirements.
  • Offer secretariat and staffing support for meetings, including recording minutes, preparing agendas, and organizing presentation materials.
  • Undertake any other general administrative duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 1 year of relevant experience
  • Entry level candidate are welcome to apply.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Acrobat applications, and knowledge of research project management is an advantage.
  • Meticulous, organized, and proactive
  • Good team player with strong sense of ownership
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
