The Assistant Manager, Business Development, will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of PaCE’s continuing education programmes, specifically focusing on the SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP) and Short Courses. This role involves managing the end-to-end process of programme delivery, developing and executing business development and sales activities, converting leads into enrollments, and maintaining strong relationships with prospective learners and corporate clients.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the end-to-end process of the assigned programmes, from programme launch to marketing and recruitment, and execution of plans to ensure on-target and high-quality delivery
Systematically prospect for and convert leads into sales, including managing and responding to enquires, constantly engage prospective learners with regular updates of the programmes, and eventually work towards having them sign up for the programmes
Respond to phone and email inquiries from prospective learners as needed and occasionally call on prospective corporate clients to promote the portfolio of programmes
Collaborate with Marketing Team to develop and execute marketing campaigns, including digital and social media as well as traditional platforms, to ensure programmes are effectively and adequately marketed
Collaborate with Operations Team to ensure smooth delivery of courses and learners’ journey and experience management
Propose and support business development and sales activities, with a focus on demand generation, lead nurturing and client conversion to increase quality enrollments
Create and coordinate development of presentation materials to support lead and sales generation
Requirements:
Degree qualification from a recognised university
Possess at least 5 years of inbound and outbound sales experience; experience in consultative selling and key account management will be a strong plus
Proven ability to convert leads into sales, demonstrated success from the funnel and leads management to close sales
Customer focus, with proven ability to develop trusting working relationships with colleagues and business partners with high expectations
Self-motivated and results-oriented team player with the ability to work collaboratively with others. A good listener with high energy and drive
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with competing deadlines
Familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM)/ database management tools for tracking of leads, enquiries, and reporting purpose.
