RESEARCH TECHNICIAN IN SENSING DEVICES FOR COMPOSITES

We seek a highly motivated Research Technician to join our Technology Consortium, ENERCOMP. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in managing research & technology projects in this consortium.

Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of Sensing technology projects for inspection and SHM of composites.
• Integrate and Evaluate the potential of technologies existing on the market and make recommendations about applicability in the composite framework.
• Support the development of new devices for creating high-performance and highly integrated sensing devices focused on monitoring composites in the Energy sector (high temperature, high pressure, Oil & Gas, Hydrogen).
• Define and execute integration of sensing concepts on practical benchmarks.
• Support ENERCOMP Research Scientists and personnel in all activities related to sensor integration and measurements.
• Execute applied research and support the development of an internationally recognized platform on sensing for composites.
• Participate in the development of patent applications.
• Coordinate interpartners activities and research effort.

ENERCOMP is a technology consortium on Composite Asset Performance in Energy Applications. It aims at increasing confidence and enabling further penetration of composite materials in the Energy sector by availing new technologies for integrity management. Its mission is to develop innovative integrity management solutions through collaborations with industry and academia by translating fundamental research into deployable technologies.
