RESEARCH TECHNICIAN IN COMPOSITE TESTING

We seek a highly motivated Research Technician to join our Technology Consortium, ENERCOMP. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in managing research & technology projects in this consortium.

Responsibilities:

  • Support mechanical testing of composites for ENERCOMP portfolio of technology projects.
  • Support and execute the generation of a unique database of composite characterization in extreme conditions.
  • Execute research tasks and analyzing data.
  • Support the development of a state-of-the-art experimental platform in the field of testing composite materials for in-situ testing in conditions relevant to the energy sector (high pressure, high temperature, extreme environments), as well as maintenance and training on this platform.
  • Participate in the development of patent applications.

ENERCOMP is a technology consortium on Composite Asset Performance in Energy Applications. It aims at increasing confidence and enabling further penetration of composite materials in the Energy sector by availing new technologies for integrity management. Its mission is to develop innovative integrity management solutions through collaborations with industry and academia by translating fundamental research into deployable technologies.
