Research engineer in scientific computing (M/F)

The research engineer will be responsible for the design, development and adaptation of analytical methods :
- programming in Java RCP within the GAMA platform,
- programming in GAML,
- numerical computation,
- optimization of shortest path calculations under CUDA,
- exploration and calibration of models under OpenMole.
The implementation will be done with the GAMA platform for which he may have to develop specific libraries.

Within the framework of the ANR ESCAPE and RIN ESCAPE-Serious Game programs, one of the objectives of which is to develop a software platform that will allow the testing of city evacuation scenarios in different crisis contexts, the research engineer in scientific computing will provide expertise in the use of computer programming methods. He/she will participate in the design and implementation of the agent models in the ESCAPE program.

UMR IDEES is a multi-site organization (University of Caen Normandy, University of Le Havre Normandy and University of Rouen Normandy) and brings together about 120 researchers around specialties recognized in France and internationally such as modeling and spatial analysis, transport and port environments, health and risks, information and communication technologies (ICT) or socio-territorial recompositions.
