Position available within the research project entitled: “Enhancing cognitive-behavioral therapy by neuroscience: novel approaches to understand treatment response for anxiety and depressive disorders in adolescents”, project number 760043 from 23.05.2023, cod CF 278/30.11.2022
We are looking for a highly motivated PhD researcher to be part of a research group studying research methods in neuroimaging and using experimental designs to examine psychiatric disorders and patient response to treatment.

Skills/Qualifications
PhD student in computer science registered at an institution organizing doctorate in Romania, with relevant research interests in the field of Intelligence Artificial Intelligence and machine learning, image processing and addressing problems of segmentation and classification problems in medical images using innovative machine learning models and optimization
Knowledge of Romanian and English at an advanced level.
Specific Requirements
Previous experience in neuroimaging (e.g., fMRI, PET, EEG, MEG), neuroimaging environment programming and algorithm development for Artificial Intelligence and machine learning, engineering medical engineering, quantitative data analysis and statistical approaches relevant to imaging brain imaging (e.g. MATLAB, Python)
