Research Technician - Master in Management/Economics

The Consuelo Vieira da Costa Foundation is a private, non-profit institution based in Porto, whose purpose is to carry out activities of promotion, development and support social, cultural and scientific research actions in the areas of teaching, education and vocational training.

In the context of its Research Center in Business Sciences and Tourism (CICET-FCVC) is accepting applications for the position of Research Technician.

Profile of the Professional to be hired

Position/Professional Category: Research Technician

Education: Economics or Management

Level of Qualifications: Master Degree in Economics or Management

Relevant professional experience

Activities to be performed:

- Management of EJABM (European Journal of Applied Business and Management), namely managing the Journal online page, submitting the Journal for indexing in the most prestigious scientific databases, reviewing articles, releasing Calls for Papers, managing publications and special issues;

- Organisation and management of scientific events (international conferences and workshops): sending calls for papers and promoting the conference, control and registration of participants, submissions and payments, technical support to participants, allocation of reviewers, support in preparing the scientific programme, preparation of the proceedings book, operational support during the event, among others;

- Management of the CICET-FCVC blog and newsletter;

- Collection, analysis and processing of quantitative and qualitative data;

- Management and production of scientific publications within the scope of the Centre;

- To continue and increase the research projects;

- Research and support in submitting applications for funded research projects;

- Research and establishment of new partnerships to carry out applied research studies;

- Conducting applied research projects in several events held in the North of the country: Audience Studies, Satisfaction, Consumer Behaviour, Evaluation of the Sponsoring Brands of the event and the economic impact of the event for the venue - preparation of questionnaires, organisation of teams of junior researchers, logistic management of the application of the questionnaires on site, reporting and analysis of the data, preparation of the press release, among others.
